How should I set the scene at home for distant sessions?
Schedule your session when you’re least likely to have any distractions. Check in with lighting, surround yourself with things of comfort like blankets, a candle, a stone, your favorite beverage. Have paper and pen nearby.
What do I do right after a session?
Rest. Drink water. Journal. Go for a slow stroll or nature walk.
Do I want a 30min integration call?
After care is similar to what you would do right after a session, but think about how you would like to be treated. Talk gently to yourself, ask what you need right now. Does a cozy spot with hot tea or a cooling beverage sound nice? Does a nourishing snack sound good? Do I want to be around people and share or do I want this experience to settle in my mind and body first with some gentle reflection?
