My Journey

The Self is realized through the Self alone.
— Bhagavad Gita

I’ve felt lost many times in my life. What am I doing here? Where am I going? What’s the purpose of life and being human?

I defined myself by the roles I played. I walked through life carrying unresolved trauma, avoiding conflict, dismissing my own worth.

Everything began to shift when I started my healing journey in 2018. Yoga teacher training opened the door to a deeper world of self-discovery through movement, mindfulness, and yoga philosophy. As I gave light to my innermost self, my perspective on others-and on life itself- began to change. I stopped asking Why is this happening to me? and started asking What is this teaching me? I began moving from victimhood to empowerment, learning to take right action from a place of awareness.

In 2020, I entered Yoga Therapy training. Through breathwork, meditation, Yoga Sutras, Upanishads, Kleshas, and the Gunas, I experienced profound growth. I began to see how much my worldview had been shaped by bias and dualism-constantly labeling things as good or bad, right or wrong. This began the embrace of sacred humanness in all of us. Ram Dass said, “We’re all just walking each other home.” I am not above or below anyone else. We are all in this together. We are One.

About a year into Yoga Therapy training, I experienced an awakening. As I shed layers of pain, guilt, and grief, blent with new insights on life and purpose, a deep soul remembrance was born. In came spirit guides, Clair intuitions, and divine connections.

The next clear step on my journey was Reiki. It didn’t just complement my healing—it amplified it. Reiki continues to teach me how to trust my intuition, soften into stillness, and understand that healing doesn’t always come through effort, but often through surrender. It became the gilded thread in my patchwork self—stitching together the parts of me that longed to feel whole. Reiki grew from a practice into a way of being. It showed me that energy holds wisdom, that touch can be a form of prayer, and that we are never truly disconnected from the divine. Reiki offers perfect guidance for a soul-centered life. Now, it’s woven into nearly everything I do.

Helping others heal is part of my life’s purpose. I feel most alive and aligned when I support others in uncovering their inner wisdom—the gifts already within them that illuminate the path of their healing journey.
